Contactless smart card technology onboard buses and trams involves passengers tapping or waving their travel card upon entry. As passengers and drivers do not handle cash, boarding times are reduced, speeding up the flow of travellers and allowing the bus or tram to be on time.
We have a wide range products for onboard use, including light validators and stand alone validators that can easily be fitted around a pole for front and rear entry/exist validation. For topping up travel cards, our add value machine can be placed onboard, allowing passengers to quickly and efficiently top up their e-purses. Our OEM readers and controller boards can easily be integrated in third-party products, including but not limited to validators, fareboxes, driver consoles and PDAs.
